Biofeedback Training
Biofeedback is a relatively new technology which uses specialized instrumentation to measure or mirror biological functions of which we are not normally aware, but which we can bring under voluntary control. Physiological activity is translated into auditory or visual signals which can be easily understood. This new concept in health care allows people to improve the quality of their fitness and sports performance by making changes in their bodily processes previously thought to go beyond voluntary control. We can easily learn to control and alter:

  • Respiration pattern and heart rate

  • Muscle tension

  • Brain wave activity

  • Blood pressure and blood volume

Biofeedback can help people engaged in a sport gain better use of their muscles, improve balance and coordination, and control breathing. You can also manage your anxiety better and thus compete better. With biofeedback and mental practice you can increase your ability to focus, to quiet, and to act effortlessly in perfect flow.
